Armstrong Flooring Inc. Headquarters & Technical Center
This project consisted of an interior and exterior renovation of two existing buildings to accommodate over 250 corporate office employees.
The Reserve at Greenfield
High Construction provided preconstruction and construction management services for The Reserve at Greenfield in Lancaster, Pa. The L-shaped structure includes 82 upscale apartments, and spans four stories in the front and five stories in the back, due to the site’s slope. The bottom floor in the back is devoted to 23 garages. A parking lot circles the building.
Elizabethtown College - Bowers Center
High Construction completed work for a $21M project for Elizabethtown College’s new Bowers Center for Sports, Fitness and Well-being. Encompassing 81,900 square feet, the beautiful new facility encourages the well-being of students with an array of fitness and wellness spaces, including a field house with tennis courts; a basketball court; an indoor track; areas for yoga, weight training, and group fitness; sports teams locker rooms; a cafe and lounge; and a demonstration kitchen, among other amenities. It's been the largest construction project to date in the history of Elizabethtown College.
The Crossings at Conestoga Creek
High Construction provided preconstruction and construction management services for this upscale apartment community that is part of The Crossings at Conestoga Creek, a Main Street-oriented, mixed-use development project that includes retail, multi-family, and hospitality components, located in Lancaster, Pa.
The Hotel Hershey
This project consisted of the renovation and reconstruction of an upscale hotel while operational, including providing value-engineering services during construction. The project had a stringent schedule featuring two phases of construction over 15 months.
Marriott at Penn Square - East Tower
High Construction provided construction on a 12-story addition to the existing Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square hotel (also built by High Construction). The addition, referred to "Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square - East Tower" adds 110 rooms to the hotel, along with a new first-floor restaurant and rooftop lounge.
Residence Inn Lancaster
The Residence Inn - Lancaster is an extended stay, all-suite hotel featuring 127 studio and one-bedroom suites. Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite has separate living, working, eating, and sleeping areas, as well as fully equipped kitchens with a coffee-maker, microwave oven, and residential-sized appliances.
SpringHill Suites Allentown/Bethlehem
Located in the Stabler Corporate Center, just off Route 309 and I-78 in Center Valley, PA, this new SpringHill Suites spans five stories and feature 132 suites. Other hotel amenities include a breakfast buffet, indoor pool, outdoor patio and fire pit, guest lounge, meeting facility, and a fitness center.
Quality Bicycle Products
High Construction provided design-build services for Quality Bicycle Products’ new Q-East office and distribution center. The 120,000-square-foot environmentally friendly facility is situated on a 19-acre site in Lancaster, PA.
Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging
This one-story 173,000-square-foot facility for Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging will facilitate the company's growing business of producing pharmaceutical glass vials, ampoules, and cartridges. The new structure replaces the company's former plant in Cleona, PA, as well as a separate warehouse.
Four Seasons Produce
As one of the ten biggest independent wholesale produce distributors, Four Seasons Produce sells over nine million cases of produce a year to supermarkets, distribution centers for supermarket chains, colleges, hospitals, and restaurants from Maine to North Carolina.
Berwind Property Management Group
Berwind Property Management Group selected High Construction as the construction manager to convert a 240,000-square-foot, light industrial facility, into flex office space with a high bay storage area.
Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences
Previously occupied by Bosch as a headquarters office and warehouse, High Construction transformed this space into a new campus for Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, a 1,400-student, private four-year college. Located in Lancaster, Pa., the campus features two buildings that total 332,675 square feet and are linked by a glass corridor.
The Flats at Kennett Square
High Construction provided preconstruction and construction management services for the Flats at Kennett Square project in Kennett Square, PA. The 212,500 SF multi-family luxury apartment community houses 175 high-end units ranging from 1-3 bedrooms in two 4-story wood framed buildings on a concrete slab and another 4-story wood framed building on top of a podium slab with an underground parking garage.
The community includes full security access to the buildings and apartments, private balconies, wood plank flooring, gas heat and range ovens, soaking tubs, fully tiled tub surrounds and kitchen backsplash, and custom kitchen cabinets with quartz countertops. The Flats are located within walking distance of Downtown Kennett Square with many shops & restaurants and includes on site a first-floor community/lounge center, fitness center, outdoor walking path, and an outdoor swimming pool area with community grills, firepits, and cabanas.
Lawn Equipment Parts Company
Lawn Equipment Parts Company (LEPCO) is an after-market parts distributor to independent lawn equipment dealers. The company needed a larger, more efficient facility and selected High Construction as the construction manager and MEP design-builder to build this new warehouse and distribution facility in Marietta, Pa.
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Transportation Center
Built-to-suit, two-story mezzanine warehouse-style facility housing the college's automotive technology, collision repair technology, and diesel technology programs. The building's facade features High Concrete Group's new ThinCast™ rainscreen panels, a proprietary methodology for enclosing a structure with an external concrete panel over a building’s waterproof membrane layer.
